Alex Blamire was born to be a musician.
The son of punk legend Pauline Murray, he learned his craft working in the studio in Newcastle, and playing in a string of bands from an early age.
He took a break from working as a producer to spend time working as a model, spending time on the catwalk in Europe for the likes of Gucci and Dior.
He was constantly writing though and when he returned to the UK he went into the studio in Camden to record a collection of songs that are reminiscent of early 80s pop and Berlin era Bowie.
Dreamlike, synth driven and big on hooks.
With the album recorded Alex has now started to perform the music with a drummer and guitarist, choosing the eponymous name Blamire.
